Job Requirement

Educational Qualification: First-class B.Tech, M.Tech or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics or another relevant field.

Essential Requirement: Strong knowledge of electromagnetics and a valid GATE/NET qualification.

Relaxation: GATE/NET requirements may be relaxed for eligible graduates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA above 8.00 or 80% aggregate marks.

Desirable Qualification: Prior experience in photonics simulations or experiments is preferred.

Job Description

IIT Delhi has announced recruitment for one Junior Research Fellow position at its Optics and Photonics Centre. Candidates with a first-class B.Tech, M.Tech or M.Sc in a relevant engineering or physics field, strong knowledge of electromagnetics, and a valid GATE/NET qualification can apply. The selected candidate will receive ₹37,000 per month plus HRA. Eligible applicants must submit the completed application by email by 3 November 2026.
