OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Ex-Servicemen (5 years military service): 5 years
Educational Qualification:
Mandatory: MBBS from a recognized university/college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
Preferred: Postgraduate Diploma OR Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS or equivalent).
Work Experience (post-basic qualification, as on 31.05.2026):
Candidates with only an MBBS degree need a minimum of 5 years' experience as a general practitioner, counted from the date of NMC/State Medical Council registration.
Candidates with a postgraduate degree need a minimum of 3 years' experience as a general practitioner from the date of registration.
Internship experience and teaching/training experience will not be counted toward this eligibility requirement.
