QA Trainee

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or pursuing one).
• Basic understanding of software development and testing life cycle.

Job Description:

Assist in performing manual testing across OTT web, mobile, and smart TV platforms under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
Support basic API testing, functional testing, and load testing activities.
Create and execute simple test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements.
Learn to track development tasks and raise issues effectively using tools like JIRA.
Help in preparing and updating QA reports (daily, weekly, monthly) with clear documentation of test coverage and defects.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand quality expectations and workflows.
Participate in QA process improvement discussions and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Explore and use AI tools for basic tasks such as test case generation, issue triaging, and reporting.
Support the QA team during product releases and sprint cycles by assisting with validations and regression testing.
